El Adiós de Buena Vista
The “Adiós Tour” was the last world tour of the Cuban orchestra Buena Vista Social Club®.
Carlos Pericás was chosen to document the day-to-day life of the band during the two and a half years in which they toured the stages of various continents saying goodbye.
His camera bears witness to the love that the emblematic orchestra feels for their music and the love they receive from the crowd wherever they are. Flights, buses, big halls and auditoriums, dressing rooms, hotels…
Everything that is not usually seen and the fans want to know.
That is “El Adiós de Buena Vista”.
